Frequently asked questions

Do I need a doctor's referral to be seen?

Physiotherapists are considered first-line practitioners, which means that they are primary care providers and can assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions without a referral from a doctor. This enables patients to access physiotherapy services directly, without the need to first see a doctor.

Do you accept medical aid?

Yes, we are contracted with most medical aids. Contact Roderiques Physiotherapy to ensure your medical aid will be accepted. It remains your responsibility to ensure that funds are available.

What are your fees?
Our pricing structure is based on the type of treatment provided and the specific physiotherapy codes used during your session. If you’re unsure about what your session may cost, feel free to reach out to us — we’re happy to assist with estimates.
Length of treatment session?

The length of each treatment session varies based on your physical condition and ranges from 45 to 60 minutes.

How much time will it take for me to get an appointment?

Whenever possible, all new appointments will be made between 24 and 48 hours after the first contact.

Would anything be required from me for a home visit?

Roderiques Physiotherapy team brings along everything they need for a session. This includes a mobile bed, towels, assessment equipment and treatment equipment.
